About The Israeli Association for Compliance, Administrative Enforcement and Audit

The Israeli Association for Compliance, Administrative Enforcement and Auditing is the professional body that represents the compliance profession and its practitioners in Israel, which runs a certification program for Certified Compliance Officers (CCO) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Officers (CAMLRO) together with the International Compliance Officers Association and in collaboration with the Israeli Bar Association’s Publishing House.
The Israeli Association for Compliance, Administrative Enforcement and Audit has established a professional codex in the field of compliance, which includes a statement of responsibility, a code of ethics, professional standards and guidelines for compliance officers.  This codex is validated by the International Compliance Association (ICA).
The purpose of the association is to be the leading professional authority in the field of compliance in Israel, and to serve as a professional organizational framework for those involved in the field of compliance as well as for those interested in this field. 
The association works to promote the following goals:
-    To be an organizational-professional framework for representing the compliance profession and those engaged in this profession before governmental, public and other entities in Israel and abroad.
-    To act to promote the profession by running a professional certification course, professional training, etc. to raise the professional level of the compliance officers.
-    To act to promote the study of compliance, including in higher education institutions.
-    To promote legislation relating to compliance officers.
-    To act to achieve recognition of the status of the compliance profession and of the Association.
-    To cooperate with various parties, in Israel and around the world, in order to strengthen their status and increase awareness of the contribution and importance of compliance officers.
-    To determine the guiding norms of the profession, including a code of ethics, professional standards and guidelines, etc.
-    To act to raise awareness of the compliance profession, among all the relevant parties and the public.
-    To act to protect the professional rights of the members of the association in their places of work  which are within the authority of a professional association (excluding dealing with remuneration).
-    To foster friendly relations and respect between all members of the Association, and to strengthen the affinity to the human and cultural values that are the foundations of the profession.
